Dr. Erika Arredondo-Haskins is a 12th-generation Texan. She teaches Religious Studies at the University of the Incarnate Word. Appointed by Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai, Dr. Haskins is a member of the Bexar County Historical Commission, where she leads the Programs Committee. She is a scholar of women and young women's leadership and early Texas history.
